Kim Woodhouse
Profile and Department: Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, Professor, Chemical Engineering, Queens University
Research Interests:
Tissue engineering and regenerative medicine with a focus on the development of elastomeric scaffolds for tissue engineered constructs in cardiac, cardiovascular, and soft tissue applications: cardiac patches utilising stem cell derived cardiomyocytes; small diameter tissue engineered vascular grafts from electrospun synthetic and elastin based materials; adipose tissue engineering utilising stem cells. The platform polymers are a biodegradable polyurethane and elastin-like polypeptides
