Lab: Rossant Lab

Research Interests:

Our lab is interested in the events that lead to the establishment of pluripotent and restricted cell lineages in the early mammalian embryo. We explore lineage development in the early mouse embryo and utilize permanent progenitor cell lines derived from early lineages – ES cells, trophoblast stem cells and XEN cells, to understand molecular control of lineage development. We are applying this knowledge to the derivation of restricted lineage progenitors, especially endoderm progenitors, from human embryonic stem cells.
