Our group is using mass spectrometry–based proteomics to study hESCs. We are particularly interested in defining which factors influence the microenvironment for self-renewal and pluripotency of hESCs. We are also studying how specific growth conditions (e.g. oxygen concentration, matrices, etc.) affect the behavior of stem cells.
