How could stem cells help extremely premature babies?

In Episode 3 of the Stem Cells, Inked series, Marissa Lithopoulos explains her work on bronchopulmonary dysplasia, a condition that develops in extremely premature babies with underdeveloped lungs who have required mechanical breathing assistance.
